Apart from bows bearing his personal stamp, Louis Bazin also copied the work of several other bow makers and produced bows bearing various other stamps. The stamp in this bow is identical to that on several other bows made by Bazin. His studio supplied numerous Parisian firms with bows of unvaryingly high quality.

This bow has superb playing qualities and has been loaned to several musicians for use in exams and concert performances.
