In this bow we see the same excellence in workmanship that is normally associated with this important German maker. It has truly excellent playing properties.

Heinz Dölling was born in 1913 and was active in Wernitzgrün in Saxony during the late 1930's. He died in 2001.

Weight : 62 g

The Stick :
  Octagonal, of good pernambuco

The Nut :
  Ebony with a simple eye, not the original. The original was damaged and needed to be replaced. It will be sold with the bow.

Mountings :
  Silver mounted. The high quality silver three-ring adjustor button might not be the original.

Lapping :
  Silver wire lapping. The black leather thumbpad is recent.

Tip Slide :
  Appears to be Ivory

Condition :
  This bow is in excellent condition, free from evident repairs. Recently freshly rehaired.
